Our Story
Alpini Capital Limited is the investment company for the Furlan Family. We are a Canadian, Italian, Irish, English, Scottish, Polish, German (and some we have probably missed) family. The seed capital for Alpini Capital came from a small legacy from the Irish branch of our family and our logo is an homage to our Northern Italian roots. That seed money is being managed by the fourth generation from its origin. We are careful stewards of our family’s legacy so that it will last and grow for many generations to come, benefiting ourselves, and through our investments, our fellow citizens of planet earth.
Our Motto
Semper Avanti – Always Forward is the guiding principle of Alpini Capital and our family. Although we trace the roots of our capital back for generations, we are looking forward to the future generations of our family and our society. We fundamentally believe that the world is moving forward to ever greater things: ever greater abundance, ever greater freedom, ever better technology and ever greater humanity and civility towards each other. We have our share of setbacks and failures but always seek to learn from them and see them and use them in the context of our shared brighter future.
Our Mission
Consistent with our story and our motto, we invest long term, with a view to future generations. Alpini Capital believes in creating lasting resources for future generations to come. We are firm believers in the power of capital coupled with human ingenuity to move the world forward. We do not restrict ourselves by asset class or investment type. While we invest in publicly listed companies, we are also open to providing seed capital and venture capital for ambitious projects that will advance technology and society.
